Content standards
This page explains how tool documentation is written and maintained. The priority is practical information that helps a user complete a task, not repeated text created only to fill a page.
Match the live tool
Titles, supported inputs, outputs, settings, and workflows should reflect the current implementation. Unsupported features and unverified performance claims are not added to documentation.
Describe limits as well as benefits
Known constraints such as damaged files, encrypted PDFs, browser memory, canvas limits, lossy compression, and metadata loss are documented when they can affect results.
Index languages only after review
Translated interfaces may remain available for usability, while search indexing is expanded only after the guide content for that language has been independently reviewed.
